ROOM ON THE ROOF RADIO
Mezzo-soprano Tania Kross sings together with Mola Sylla and pianist Thijs Borsten in the Room on the Roof. A combination of four hundred year old covers and a more recent one from Michael Jackson. One song is about Amsterdam, inspired by the location and beautiful view from the tower. Listen to these special recordings in the men’s fitting rooms of the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.
Biography Tania Kross
Mezzo-soprano Tania Kross, singer, mother and home peacock was born in Curacao. The Concertgebouw Amsterdam selected her as a ‘Rising Star’. She toured the various concert halls of the world, including Paris, Salzburg, Vienna, Athens, Birmingham, Cologne and Carnegie Hall in New York. Kross is also a producer and created her dream project, Katibu di Shon, Slave and Master, the first Papiamento Opera. She is the ambassador of Music counts! On April 1st 2015 she was appointed member of Akademie van Kunsten.
